Pinkfong’s “Baby Shark Dance” took the records for the most viewed music video on YouTube and the most viewed video on YouTube overall.
The video, which accumulated 7,042,967,886 visits since its original publication, on June 17, 2016 until November 2, 2020. Such is a success that it surpassed the record of “Despacito”, by Luis Fonsi , which was the first video to receive 5 billion views on YouTube.
The catchy song also accumulates more than 22 million “likes” and 10 million “dislikes” , making it the video that I like the most and, at the same time, the video that I like the least on the platform.
